This community-centered Día de los Muertos celebration featured ofrendas created by artists Sophie Lopez, Marylu E. Herrera, Sara Prado, Keny Sánchez, Juan Molina Hernández, DePaul Professor L.A. Saravia, and the students of her course LSP 200: Race, Power, Resistance, along with AnySquared.

Organized in collaboration with Palenque LSNA and Comfort Station, and supported by the Rebecca Crown Library, the event honored the cultural traditions of Latinx communities in the U.S. and Latin America—holding space to remember loved ones lost and to celebrate those still with us
