Marylu’s takeover is titled “las pequeñas águilas”. About the work, Marylu shares: “For The Robin, I wanted to bring a piece of my backyard, and I decided to miniaturize these three giant silver eagles from my backyard. These statutes have been a part of my life ever since my father found one on a road trip, installed it in front of our house, and decided he needed to bring two more. In recent years, my father decided to change these eagles' location and install them in the backyard where they now reside. Ever since they were installed in our backyard, I have started to use them as a part of my practice.
